Hello! Looking for a summary of what to eat, what to stay away from days leading up to and day after a dose. Ty!

Hi, Great question! You shouldn’t need to stay away from anything in particular, we don’t want to end up in the mindset of demonising certain foods, that doesn’t lead to a healthy long term relationship with our nutrition. Rather, focus on trying to prioritise getting a decent protein intake, maintaining a decent intake of nutritionally dense foods (fruit and veg), which will also ensure that you get sufficient fibre intake as well as prioritising micronutrients. This is likely to be important post-dose of your appetite is significantly blunted. I’ll do a more in-depth video reply for you so you don’t have to read an essay!

Could it be liquid calories or regular snacking? As always questions, comments welcome.

taking GLP-1 and still not losing weight?
Introduction
Hey everyone — thanks for having me here.I’m really glad to see a space focused on long-term success with GLP-1s, not just quick weight loss. One thing that’s strongly supported in the research is that people tend to do best when they focus on three foundations alongside the medication: 1. Protein + strength work (helps preserve lean muscle). 2. Managing side effects early (hydration, fiber, slower dose increases). 3. Planning for maintenance (habits matter once the appetite suppression fades) Curious — what’s been the hardest part for people here so far: side effects, food intake, or the mental side of it?

Hi, Thanks for your comment, completely agree with all of your points here and I will be expanding on all of these over time within the group. Looking forwards to hearing from the users within the group as to what thy find the most challenging aspects of taking these medications.
