When I first got here at the BBC, I was intimidated and pulled away
I wasn’t as active, I made some good posts, but I admit it, @David Iya constant positive vibe pulled me back in! And now I feel at home here! I wish I hadn’t pulled away in the beginning, but it is what it is! I can tell you though even watching from afar, I knew David was special. He had the credentials, the personna, but it was something more and I just now feel like I know what it is! He has a way of making everyone feel special, not like he’s trying to sell you something. It feels authentic! And I admit I soak up as much as I can now before he is busy with his paid groups. I try to model his energy in my group so that my members will cherish me just as much as the love I feel in this group 24/7! It’s amazing how skool has transformed me in such a short time and a lot of it is because of mentors like David! There are others I also get strength from, but this place is special! And I plan on re-engaging in it everyday!

After Hours Reviewing All Of Your About Pages: I Have a Theory, Help Me Prove or Debunk It
⚠️ Note: This is one of those posts where you'll want to read the entire thing. (Forgive the length) So, yesterday I finished reviewing every single Skool that was shared in the: 'Tis The Season. Drop Your Skool. Let's Sharpen Each Other post from this weekend. First off: you all showed up. The pages were strong. Real positioning. Real credibility. Real heart. Also, I'm not gonna lie, I expected it to feel like a chore. It didn't. I actually enjoyed it. A lot of you are building something real and it shows. But here's what's been running through my head since. I have a theory: Most people who find your Skool have already decided to join before they even land on your about page. Think about it. They saw you in a comment. They clicked your profile. They liked your energy. They followed a link someone shared. By the time they hit your about page, they're just looking for confirmation, not convincing. Which means we might be over-optimizing the wrong thing. I want to test this. Help me out. When you joined BBC, what actually got you here? Vote and be honest. This isn't about ego, you all can hurt my feelings if need be, I don't mind being wrong. I'm trying to figure out where conversions actually come from when all is said and done. Why this matters: I've been deep in research mode lately. Looking at who's hitting 30K MRR. Who's crossing 100K. What they're doing differently. And something keeps coming up: distribution beats decoration. The best about page in the world doesn't matter if nobody sees it. The question is how do you get seen, and what makes someone click join before they've read a single word? Here's where it gets interesting. One of the tools I'm building into the Skool Connect suite will let you A/B test your about pages. You'll be able to set up three or four different versions, and it tracks which one converts the highest over time. Then the winner will stick automatically.

Being referred or a keyword search would get me there although the about page and the owners profile encourage me to hit the join button.
'Tis The Season. Drop Your Skool. Let's Sharpen Each Other. ⚔️
The holidays have me in a giving mood. And this community has given me a lot of love & energy. So I want to give back. I was reading back through the "What Do You Actually Want?" thread, and one of the top requests was hot seat audits on our upcoming weekly calls. So, let's start practicing now! Drop your Skool link below and get honest, specific feedback. Not generic "looks good!" stuff. Real feedback. What's working. What's not. What I'd change if it were mine. I've been studying what makes Skool communities work. Quite obsessively, honestly. Things like: - About pages that convert vs ones that leak - Content structures that drive engagement vs ghost towns - Welcome sequences that retain vs ones that lose people in 48 hours - Pricing tiers that make sense vs ones that confuse (more coming soon) You've all given so much to this community so I want to take time to review your profiles before this group gets bigger. Not only your Skool community, YOU. Your bio. Your positioning. How you present yourself. You don't need accolades. You need a bio that makes the right people say "this is for me." Here's how this works: 1. Drop your Skool profile link below 2. Share a one-liner about who you are and what you're building Then, review at least 3 other communities in this thread. Be honest: - What do you like about their vision? - What's unclear or could improve? - Would you join? Why or why not? I'll be going through as many as I can and giving personalized thoughts. Let's sharpen each other heading into the new year. Drop your link. Let's grow together. 👇 P.S. There's a lot of exciting updates coming that I've been SO impatient to share. From announcing the billionaire, to going paid, and more! A few of them will be dropping next week. Stay tuned. 🥂

My site is currently under construction, it’s only about a week old, but the vision is clear. This space is designed for everyone from beginners who want to grow food and need a little guidance, to land stewards with up to ten acres who are ready to build a thriving food-forest oasis. One of the core features will be personalized learning spaces called “[Member Name] Oasis.” These classrooms will document each member’s journey, with thoughtful commentary and guidance focused on working with nature rather than trying to control it. Additional classrooms will explore the pillars of permaculture, practical herbal use, and emergency preparedness—all within a calm, hybrid off-grid approach to resilient living. Whether you’re a busy couple with limited time to garden or a retiree tending your land daily, this site is meant to meet you where you are. https://www.skool.com/oasis-builders-8012

So, drop all of your thoughts below. I'll be reading every single response. 📖 P.S. 1. Big announcement coming tomorrow, stay tuned! 🚨 2. Hello I'm a hybrid generalist... jack of many trades... I have worked from gypsy off grid to VP of Corporate Construction building and renovating hospitals and nursing homes. Currently retired master gardener home school dad, homesteading and creating a food forest for the future generation to enjoy. I am starting a skool site 'Oasis Builder' to organize notes and data to write a book where each module will be a chapter. The book will feature many of my antics although will be a community place where people share pics and updates of their own land turning into an oasis. The chapters will take you from a bare new piece of land, to observing and drawing out your fluid plan to create a vision. Once the plan is in place, I will help you make goals that will over time get you there. For some this might be a small space that will produce quickly to others with larger areas that are pulled together in sections. We will also look at life (live stock) that lives underground. Each module will be valuated, as the community members plant and harvest along the way... knowing the plan stays fluid, we then plan some more for your next steps. There will also be chapters on how to take control of your own health to avoid big pharma by growing the plants your body needs to stay healthy as well as onsite exercise routines that keep us young in mind, body and soul. I'm in TN Zone 7b although any climate zone or any other climate conditions in any country will be able to enjoy the community chat for free to get started. I will also include some cooking modules teaching how not to use recipes and use spices for health. As you can tell, I am a generalist and will give solid information as well as provide affiliate links to specialized skool communities through the affiliate program.
