Codexers - i need your help
i've been basing this community off vibes, but now we've just crossed 100 members (go us!) i need your help on our community's direction. question 1: what's your main stuck-point/challenge/question with Codex right now? question 2: what would make Codex Club a place you'd love call "home" online? - weekly skill drops - more posts like this - specific topics during live calls - classroom/course content - something else? would mean the world to me and @Yasmine Lindsay if you answered one or both of these questions below! looking forward to hearing from y'all <3

I have already sent these questions in the DM, but I'll post here: Q1: Why can't I create my own pet using the 'Create Your Pet' button or even find the 'Hatch Pet' plugin? Is it due to my free account status? Q2: Do I need to have 2 MFA setting setup to access Google Cloud to develop an email triage skill? 2 MFA is a pain in the arse if I'm logging in and out multiple times a day. My noobie agent is suggesting that I create a secondary Gmail account and give my agent access to that one. However, 2 MFA is probably going to be enabled across all my G-Accounts. Does the Gmail plugin take care of the email triage easily? It doesn't appear when I do a search for the plugin.

I love seeing all kinds of high level agent applications covered. I know there are a myriad of use cases to cover, but I wonder if you would setup a poll asking your audience requests of the type of agents training (with the corresponding plugins and skills) that could be covered. You're doing a great job so far, Lennox, and I'm sold on Codex being better than Claude for agent training.

Codexers - welcome to the club. Codex Club is for non-coders, service operators, freelancers, consultants, creators, and quietly dangerous business people who want to stop saving AI posts and start shipping useful things. the goal is simple: use Codex and AI to build your first practical AI service product. not theory. not prompt hoarding. not "one day i should learn how this works." every week, you get: - one practical Skill Drop or Codex workflow. - one Weekly Build Challenge. - a simple proof prompt. - a place to post what you made, what broke, and what you need help with next. start here: go to the Start Here classroom page first. it shows you how Codex Club works, what to do in your first 10 minutes, where the current weekly challenge lives, how to post proof without overthinking it, and when Build With Lennox makes sense. your first move: this week's challenge is Find Your AI Service Product. your job is to pick one AI service product idea from real signal, not vibes. use Skill Drop 001: Offer Signal Snapshot. then post your first proof using this sentence: I help [buyer] get [outcome] using [AI/Codex mechanism]. ugly first drafts count. quiet lurker mode does not build the thing. new here? reply with: 1. what you already help people do. 2. who you want to help. 3. your rough AI service product sentence: I help [buyer] get [outcome] using [AI/Codex mechanism]. then go do the Week 1 challenge in Weekly Build Challenges.

I'm an educator and developer, and I'm fascinated how Codex and Claude are changing the way computer science is being taught in the classroom. There's always room for fundamentals, but there are many parents of my students who are CEO's of various AI companies, and most all of them use pseudocode and agentic development to run their companies. Glad to learn from y'all.
