Going LIVE online!
Welcome to Code Blue Academy, I'm getting ready to go LIVE online every single day and teach emergency medicine, skills, and pass along my knowledge and understanding to the best of my ability to help you become the best version of yourself as an emergency care provider. I live in Georgia and I'm on Eastern standard time so please throw out some times that might work for you. Even if you're unable to make the online sessions, you can steal message me or email me your questions and I will cover them in the video and the recording will be inside of the school community for you to view at your leisure. Remember, we were never called to be good. We were called to be great and to be great. We must get knowledge and complete comprehension when it comes to providing emergency care medicine to the sick and injured. I look forward to seeing you guys here soon online and I love helping you guys take it to another level. Jeff Bratcher, NRP, CST, FMSS, TNCC, ENPC, RN

This is awesome!
A stroke is not a stroke without a D-stick!
How many stroke workups have been done when hypoglycemia was the culprit?
Worst Case Scenario…
What’s the one type of patient/emergency that gets your heart racing???

@Jeffery Bratcher it starts at 0800 sharp with a thorough truck and equipment checkoff! When we get them loaded in the truck SAMPLE / OPQRST. Is this COPD, asthma, alergic reaction? Quick IV access, O2, sats, 12 lead, capnography, then other vitals. I say this because I dont care what your BP is at this moment. We will get that soon enough. Contrary to medical (in-hospital) opinion, we do diagnose in the field. So start diagnosing and treat in the field. Do they need a duo-neb and solumedrol? Maybe a mag drip? Is this because little Timmy has a peanut allergy and grandma just got him a #1 from Chic-Fi-Ler? 0.3-0.5 1;1000 epi IM and 25-50 Benadryl quickly! Be prepared to take over respirations and most of all, be ready to intubate! Dont lose that airway!!! Then rapid TX to closest and most appropriate facility. Most of all, CONTINUOS TRAINING and train those under you. BE THE PATIENT ADVOCATE!!

"OR" is this a panic attack where granmother needs someone to hold her hand, reassure her she is ok, and calm her down? Care and compassion are the most important two things on your truck. Be that EMT/Medic!
