Pressure Test
What you see here is how we cap our fittings for a pressure test in refrigerant lines. We have 1/2 inch aswell as 1/4. We simply ProPressed onto the 1/2 and had to braze a reducing coupling for the 1/4. Will be tested to 500#

do they not make 1/2" x 1/4" pro press reducing couplers? Quick thinking, crimping down half of the 1/2" pipe to fit around the 3/8" pipe, and filling it with SIL-FOS. That is not a task a rookie could handle easily. Hats off to whoever decided it was more important to keep the job going rather than taking a 1-2 hour trip to the supply house.
