Growing the business
I’ve reached the stage in my business now where I literally have unlimited access to supplies of profitable stock and outlets to turn it over quickly. Thoughts on what I should focus on next? I’m thinking I need to focus on becoming as efficient as possible so I can list more items.

If you have stock nailed down, focus on how fast you can process. i.e. if you have 1000 items arrive what's your turn around time to get them all online. And, how fast can you pick and pack them. These are the biggest areas to focus on improving, a minute or two per item saved on each process is a significant time saving. I would hold off on staff until you have this nailed down, it's much easier to teach a staff member an efficient process. I hired staff before fully optimizing my processes and teaching someone else what to do really exposed how inefficient some of my systems were!
One for the big players in the game...
Scaling. Talk to me. ▪️For those that have grown a store from a couple hundred items to over 1000, how long did this process take you? ▪️Did you gradually increase your daily listing goal as stock and cashflow allowed, focused on listing more than you sell each day or was there another method that allowed you growth?📊 ▪️Did you set a percentage of your payouts for reinvesting into the business and paying yourself, and did this change as you grew?💲 ▪️How did you accommodate the growing inventory; and when did you decide that investing in more space/units/sheds was the right thing to do?📦 Any advice for a small player trying to grow, but frustrated at how long it's taking would be much appreciated🫶

Hi Bianca, For me: ▪️Did you gradually increase your daily listing goal as stock and cashflow allowed, focused on listing more than you sell each day or was there another method that allowed you growth? I pushed the listings up as much as I could physically list and source, no goal except as many as possible. Listings far outstripped sales for a while. Moved to wholesale as primary sourcing method. ▪️Did you set a percentage of your payouts for reinvesting into the business and paying yourself, and did this change as you grew?💲 -- Put everything back into new stock, paid myself as low as possible ▪️How did you accommodate the growing inventory; and when did you decide that investing in more space/units/sheds was the right thing to do?📦 - Squeezed as much as possible into every space and only got a bigger unit once I absolutely had to. I'm based on London, so space is super expensive. With growing though it does depend a lot on personal circumstances. I was happy to put the majority of the cash, plus my own savings etc. into the business to grow faster as I'm in my 20s, no mortgage, no kids etc.
Introduction Post
Hello, I'm James, I've been reselling for 10 years, mostly eBay, Depop and Vinted. I even tried my own shopify store, with mixed success on that. Primarily clothing but now selling lots of trainers as well thanks to how easy they are to snipe on Vinted 😂 Looking forward to being part of the group!

@Matt Brace Hello, it is now but I don't buy loads so I've not had any issues. I also manually snipe, I don't use a bot to purchase, which probably reduces the risk
