✨ Lent Reflection – 40-Days until Resurrection Sunday✨
Lent is a season of reflection, growth, and discipline. Over the next 40 days, many people choose to give something up to focus on becoming better spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. So I want to ask you: ✝️ Why Lent Is 40 Days Lent lasts about 40 days before Easter (not counting Sundays). The number 40 is important in the Bible because it represents testing, preparation, and growth, such as: - Jesus fasting for 40 days in the wilderness - Moses spending 40 days on Mount Sinai - Noah’s 40 days of rain So the 40 days of Lent are meant to be a time of spiritual reset and preparation before celebrating Easter. 🌿 What Lent Is About Traditionally, Lent is a season for: ✅ Self-discipline✅ Prayer and reflection✅ Repentance✅ Personal growth✅ Drawing closer to God That’s why people “give something up” — not just to suffer, but to: 👉 Remove distractions👉 Build discipline👉 Replace bad habits with better ones👉 Focus more on faith and purpose 💬 What are you giving up for the next 40 days? I will drop the recordings from Monday night’s and Tuesday night’s Bible study so you can still catch up and be poured into. ✨✨ NO BIBLE STUDY TONIGHT ✨✨ Enjoy cooking, enjoy your family, and enjoy this time of rest. MIDDAY PRAYER — DECLARATION- PRAY WITH ME🙏🏽🙌🏽💖
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, I lift up every one of my sisters right now. Lord, I am covering their minds, I am covering their hearts, and I declare the peace of God will rest on them like a blanket. I speak peace over their emotions, peace over their thoughts, peace over their homes, and peace over everything connected to their name. I declare struggle is not their portion. Discouragement is not their portion. Disgrace is not their portion in the name of Jesus, I decree it is canceled. I pray for supernatural acceleration to go before them. Let the hand of God get in front of them. Let the wind of God push them. Let the favor of God carry them. I declare the peace of God defeats depression, the joy of the Lord rises up in them, and the voice of God becomes louder than every distraction. Father, let Your goodness rest on them in a mighty, mighty way. Let Your healing power touch every wound — even the wounds nobody sees. Let Your love fall fresh, let Your presence overflow. Lord, I pray that You will have Your way in their life. Turn the captivity. Shift the atmosphere. Break every chain. Open every door. Do something new, something divine, something supernatural that only Heaven can explain. And Father, I declare the spirit of completion over them. Everything You told them to do — they will begin to complete it, and there will be supernatural acceleration connected to their completion. No more stopping. No more pausing. No more unfinished assignment. I decree divine momentum. You who began a good work in them — perform it today in the name of Jesus Christ. I declare they will not be stagnant.They will not be delayed.They will not be stuck.But they will settle into what You promised. They will move. They will advance. They will build. They will cross over. I speak sudden achievement, sudden breakthrough, sudden increase, and sudden divine release in the name of Jesus. Let it be so In Jesus mighty name — Amen. Heavenly Father, first I want to thank you I want to honor your name Lord God giving you all of the glory and praise. Thank you for being a merciful God thank you for being a forgiving God. Thank you for being a peaceful God joyous God a provider God a healer the true almighty God. Thank you for your presence your guidance and you blessing Lord God Dear Father, I am writing in a fashion to let you know that I am letting go, I am letting go of uncertainty because you said you have ordered my steps and my thoughts are not your thought and my ways are not my ways and to lean not on my own understanding. I am letting go of saddens and rolling down a sad rabbit hole because you said consider my presents sufferings are not worth compared to the glory that is to come. I’m letting go of unhealthy eating and incorporating excise and movement because you said my body is a temple and it is on borrowed time. I’m letting go of instructive thoughts that down cast my motherhood because children are a blessing and you knitted her perfectly in my womb and will give me the guidance to train her up in your word. I’m letting go of the flesh because you said flee temptation. I’m letting go of dishonest people surrounding me you said warn a divisive person once, twice and after that have nothing to do with them. I’m letting go of the things not like you Lord because you said we were made in your image. Lord I’m letting go of the voice in my head that’s telling me not to believe even what I’m writing now but I know that it’s filled with your glory and word. I’m letting go of not spending time with you, letting go of making my phone an idol, you said no other god shall be before you. I’m letting go Lord of the things not like you. I ask you to stay on my mind Lord, fill my heart with you Lord, download into my spirit Lord, allow me a thirst for your word, allow me a thirst for prayer with you, allow me a thirst for you Lord you said ask and I shall receive. I’m asking for you Lord annotate me and fill me with your word Lord, you created me in your likeliness, in your image Lord, and left the Holy Spirit as well. Lord protect my peace and joy as I fill myself with your word. I love you father God, in your precious holy name, in Jesus name I pray. Your daughter, Jalyn.
