One advantage of running a service-based business is the ability to leverage existing client relationships when introducing more services! I live on the east coast and have the ability to do snow removal, I have just a few clients but with me already having a connection I was able to secure a few snow removal jobs, primarily plowing their driveways. (No I did not sub this out, but all I’m doing is plowing it with a 350.) Always take advantage of any steps you can to benefit your Company in any way possible!
Hiring based on the lowest rate almost always backfires. Missed jobs, rushed work, no-shows, and constant complaints cost far more than paying slightly higher and setting standards. Cleaners don’t need to be perfect, but they do need clarity. Clear checklists and accountability beat cheap labor every time.
How are yall getting clients that wanna pay your price? I quoted a monthly standard cleaning on a 2700 sqft home for $260 and the customer told me I was so expensive 😭. Lmk if im charging too much or not.
