Hi my name is Ja’LA Jaliyah. I’m a lover of poetry. I enjoy creating it. I joined this community in hopes of gaining wisdom and finding community. I know Yah has been pulling on my heart for quite a while in regard to walking in purpose, and has made it clear that I’m not meant to work for the system, but to use the gifts He has given me. When I saw the video about using your gifts, it really caught my attention. I have struggled in this area because of fear, so I’m really just praying I learn something here, or experience a shift, whatever His will is. I recently stepped out in faith and started my own cottage bakery. My long term goal is to see where this journey leads and to bring glory to Yahuah through it. I want to walk fully in the gifts I have been given so they can glorify Abba. And honestly, I also want to be obedient to what He has been calling me into, which is speaking and sharing testimony, something I have been afraid to step into. Fun fact, I used to hate my middle name. About a year ago, Abba instructed me to start going by my first and middle name, which was a struggle at first. But I have grown to appreciate my name more.
