Yo, i am BiONYK. (Don’t overthink it.. it’s pronounced just like this..Bionic.) haha I’ve been creating music for about 15 years now, sacrificed pretty much everything to do whatever for the divine purpose of contributing something to the collective consciousness that would ultimately be much bigger than anything resembling me, personally. I make the music to stay alive, to heal, to learn. But I share the music with the world with the hopes of it doing what music had done for me when i was younger. It helped me understand what it might feel like to b genuinely understood. It taught me to embrace my inner strength knowing that i could survive alone in darkness without fear or sadness or loneliness, etc. I hope to leave behind as much of a released discography as my gift nd legacy to those who are meant to find it long after I am no longer here as I possibly can so that my painful experiences may assist in the mission to uplift, encourage the spiritual development of others nd hopefully possibly help as many people through their own struggles or challenges in their own journey know that no matter how dark it can get sometimes, they are not lost nd have the power to change the course of their lives by doing whatever it is that brings them joy nd peace. Once people understand the fact that you don’t have to dim anyone else’s light in order for your light to shine just as bright…that is when the world will be one step ahead of the negativity nd balance might begin to restore itself. As above, so below. Sorry that might have been a bit of a strange answer for a comment introducing myself huh? Lol that’s ok. I would say I’m struggling to branch out nd reach wider audiences or perhaps narrow down my “target audience” Personally, I’m not a big fan of the whole target audience term and all that shit as I just feel like it’s kind of nonsense. I understand the concept behind it, and I guess it could be applicable to many artists but I personally just think it’s kind of a load of crap and I won’t get into all that, but I’ve noticed over the years that many different humans with many different styles and emotions and characteristics and personalities have been able to vibe to my music. Not every song is for everybody, of course, but I have never found a certain individual who I wasn’t able to find a song that they could find something to resonate with. And I say this in the most humble way possible it’s legitimately just the statistical analysis of many different people‘s reaction over the years to my music and it has been largely positive except for other artists and that to me seems to be mainly due to egotistical competitive low frequency perspectives or lack of comprehension of the fact that I am not doing this to compete or compare. I am doing this because it is what I am here to do. I love to collaborate and expand nd grow and work with others. But I will not feed into nonsensical frivolous arguments or waste time or energy conversing with egotistical idiots in this industry. Unfortunately, due to the fact that a lot of my music leans towardship-hop and rap I feel like I have had the pleasure of meeting quite a large amount of comical humans who are also focused on creating what they consider to be good music in whatever subgenres of hip-hop and rap the majority of the rappers are into nowadays.
