24valve ve swap
Alright this is what I've got so far I've turned up the fuel screw I've played with the timing right now it's set to one past c I'm running stock injectors what do y'all think my issue is has throttle response but won't idle after giving it throttle and if I don't touch the throttle it will idle but almost dies then picks back up a little bit

Yes the pump is good but I really don't have a lot of history on this motor but got a good deal on it so I took a chance but when I got it it had a bad vp44 so idk if the injectors have been changed from stock or not also I used fuel lines and banjo bolts from the vp for feed and return on the be and I was reading on another guy's post about having similar issues and he mentioned something about the return line being the wrong size could cause it to run funky

24 valve Cummins ve pump swap
Alright I'm back! I ordered those thread adapters from amazon and they seem to fit good. Now the only concern I have is that when I try to turn over the motor by hand it seems to bind up, but it's springy.

@Robert Winkworth okay I pulled the pump apart and looks like the yellow arrow and red arrow are supposed to spin separately is that correct?

Well that did the job, the collar piece was just gunked up and wouldn't slide or rotate so a little wd40 soak got it working like a charm so next step will be a flywheel and a starter and I'll update with a starting video

What heli coils do I need to adapt the vp injection lines to the ve pump?

Ve pump swap 24valve
So I'm swapping a ve pump into my 24 valve for my 1986 f350 crew cab build and I'm not sure about lining up the pump gear with the cam gear where should I start because when I line up the tdc marks the pump hits the intake portion of the head

Mostly stupid sometimes I put things together that work swapping a ve pump on my 24 valve to put in a bull nose crew cab f350
