Alright I'm back! I ordered those thread adapters from amazon and they seem to fit good. Now the only concern I have is that when I try to turn over the motor by hand it seems to bind up, but it's springy.
Well that did the job, the collar piece was just gunked up and wouldn't slide or rotate so a little wd40 soak got it working like a charm so next step will be a flywheel and a starter and I'll update with a starting video
So I'm swapping a ve pump into my 24 valve for my 1986 f350 crew cab build and I'm not sure about lining up the pump gear with the cam gear where should I start because when I line up the tdc marks the pump hits the intake portion of the head
