Why I hate voice notes (and maybe you should too) 😅
Not because they're bad. Because they're often inefficient. A 3-minute voice note can usually be a 2-sentence text. A 10-minute voice note can become a 30-minute obligation. And the biggest issue? The sender transfers the burden of organization to the listener. If it's important enough to communicate, it's important enough to structure. Now, there are exceptions: ✅ Emotional conversations ✅ Nuance and tone ✅ Complex discussions But for scheduling, updates, requests, and decisions? Give me bullet points. Clear communication is a form of respect. What's your take? 🎙️ Voice notes or text messages?

This is an awesome topic! Initially, I felt to say that I always prefer listening to someone's voice over just reading their words. But when I look at my own patterns of communication, oftentimes words help me express what I want to say more clearly. Perhaps it's because I write more than I say out loud in my daily life :) I navigate my current reality largely through writing. I wonder if it has to do with extraversion and introversion. Recently I took a personality test for the first time in a few years. I've become more introverted. Or perhaps as I've continued integrating into my authentic self, introversion has manifested more heavily or become a means to prioritize what's important to me during this time. Maybe my introversion is why I tend to write over speaking.

@Alice Hlidkova I love this thought about different ways of processing our thoughts. I'm thinking that since I write more often than I converse, maybe seeking opportunities to practice speaking in conversation will create and strengthen brain pathways to complement and add on to the ones I use for writing ✨🩵 Thanks for the reply 🙏 :)
🎯 Active Listening LIVE Demo: Improve Your Interviews, Sales Calls, & Relationships
Most people think they need better answers. They don't. They need better questions. And they need to learn how to listen. I recently recorded a live Active Listening Role Play with our brave community member, @Jennifer Carroll Bulgin What surprised me wasn't the technique. It was how quickly assumptions disappeared when we slowed down and listened. In interviews, sales calls, presentations, and relationships, people often stop listening and start reacting. That's when misunderstandings happen. That's when opportunities are missed. That's when trust breaks down. Watch the recording and ask yourself: What conversation in your life would improve if you listened 20% better? If you'd like personalized feedback on your communication style, I'm opening a few spots for 1:1 Communication Performance Audits. For the next 3 days only, community members can book a private coaching session for 30% off. 💰 Regular Price: $97/hour 💰 Community Price: $67/hour Book here: https://www.skool.com/alice/plans or DM Together, we'll review: ✅ Interviews ✅ Sales calls ✅ Presentations ✅ Difficult conversations ✅ Active listening skills We'll also do live role plays to uncover communication blind spots and help position you for greater success. Sometimes one conversation can change a relationship, close a deal, land a job, or open a door you didn't know existed. If you're ready to improve the way you communicate, send me a DM with the word AUDIT. ⏳ Discount expires in 3 days.

I'm partway through and enjoying so far! I love the way Active Listening is a tool that can be applied in any setting and conversation :) I also notice the value of two parties mirroring each other and illuminating blind spots or providing value that would be difficult to discover alone.
30-Day Reset Underway - Week 1 - Learning Intention
Wow. I knew I was in for something amazing, but that is even more powerful than I expected. I'm excited to try it out this week (and to have this knowledge and these techniques on lock, when I need them and in every moment, for the rest of my life!) If the 30-Day Reset calls to you, but you haven't taken the leap yet, I really encourage anyone interested to take a deep breath and go for it!! You're in for something special :)✨ I'm truly ecstatic to be learning and applying all that Alice is teaching here <3 (Conscious application and subconscious embodiment!!)
Did you see how Active Listening is done in practice?
I swear by active listening as one of the fastest ways to sound more confident. Not because you're talking more. Because you're paying closer attention. In both professional and personal conversations, active listening helps you understand others more deeply, respond more thoughtfully, and build stronger connections. Most people focus on what they're going to say next. Confident communicators focus on understanding first. What do you think? If you missed the role play with @Jennifer Carroll Bulgin , check it out here: https://www.skool.com/alice/active-listening-live-demo-improve-your-interviews-sales-calls-relationships?p=844f360e

30-Day Reset Officially Underway <3 🎊🎉
I've just finished listening to the Welcome video for the 30-Day Communication Reset! I've set off on my journey to dive even deeper into The A.L.I.C.E. Method after having finished working through the Mini Course a little while ago. I'd planned to begin sooner, but some challenges came up and my rhythm was interrupted. Well, what I love about Alice's curriculum is the way it's designed so that I can go at my own pace, and what's more; the skills I'm learning are helping me to navigate those very challenges: the unexpected events that arise in life. We can either choose to shut down and avoid the issues, or face them with courage, confidence, and love to learn the lessons through opposition if we pick the latter. Alice's curriculum has helped me become excited about facing communication challenges and opportunities that would have otherwise made me nervous and overwhelmed. Now, I can transform those feelings into excitement and have fun with each chance to apply the teachings that I learn here from Alice and the members of the community! I'm excited to continue with 'Week 1: Learning Intention' and I will be sharing my Wins, Questions, Miracles, and daily updates as I go!! <3✨😁
