Your First Wide Shoot Rule
If a rule needs an exception, it’s not a rule yet. The Wide Shoot is built on simple rules that hold up against pressure. As we go, everything ties back to that idea. Drop your level, position, and experience with the system below so I know how to help you best.

Hi All! I am currently transitioning from being an 8-Man head coach in Wisconsin (around 110 kids) to taking on an OC role at a new school (close to 900 students). I started coaching in 2019 (at 19) as a volunteer assistant, then moved to a coordinator role on Defense for 2 years, and then I was a head coach for the past 4 seasons. The school that I am going to is 0-18 the last two seasons and from what little film that I have seen so far, attempted at least 3 offenses last year (Wing T, Pro-Style I, and Spread). Looking for an adaptable system to fit what we will have for student athletes. I also am needing to re-familiarize myself coaching with an additional 3 players. Excited to learn more about the Wide Shoot system!
