Non-technical founder seeking advice on building an MVP
Hi everyone, I’m new to this community. 👋 I’m nontechnical, and I want to bring my idea to life so I’m looking for some guidance. My idea is to build a simple web app that generates images for users. From what I understand, it would need: - a front end - a backend - a database - a paywall At this stage, I only want to build enough to validate my idea. I’m not sure if this is the right design or if I’m missing important parts. I have a few questions and would really appreciate your advice: - Is this the right approach for an MVP to make it as a web app? - What important parts am I missing? - As a non-technical person, can I realistically build this myself by learning from videos, or are there serious technical challenges I won’t be able to handle alone? - If I decide to hire a developer, what questions should I ask to make sure they’re capable of building this project? - What are the major red flags or risks in web app development that I should know before starting? - For idea validation what is a realistic budget, or are there hidden costs (especially for AI image generation) that non-technical founders usually don’t know about? - And what other question do I need to ask myself? Thanks a lot for your time and help. I’m here to learn.

I second this, all I can tell you is that a developer will be much more expensive than doing it yourself. Building it yourself will be a serious time investment though, I am in over 100 hours of building/learning in a month.
Why does Corbin teach react and not vite/ next.js?
I thought is probably for easy learning but I keep getting ai and other tools telling me its outdated, any explanation? "The one outdated-ish piece you already saw yourself: create-react-app (CRA) is deprecated (your terminal literally told you). It can still work for learning, but if you start a new serious app later, you’ll probably want Vite (simple React) or Next.js (React + full-stack patterns). So: fine for learning, but you’re correct to question “why React/CRA instead of Vite/Next.” "
I need help: Antigravity OR Cursor
I am a complete beginner and only have 50h of experience with vibecoding I have 25h a week of focused time to learn and vibe + 250,- monthly AI tools budget I really want to use Antigravity and have started learning it but I found Corbin his amazing 6 hour video and he is using Cursor. Can anyone help me make a decision? I am not in a rush and want to do this for at least 6 months. Any other info I could provide that would clarify?

@Ramiro Gonzalez "" OK Well thank you that is a lot of info I am not completely sure what to do with all of that info I would like to start at a good place and I'm using a lot of Google products but yeah it seems like since you're spending a lot you know what is a good idea I personally was planning on getting Google AI ultra but I see that now I am unable to get it anymore I had a deal but it's completely gone so maybe I do have to choose something else I guess I can always relearn i'm going to try and finish the video with anti gravity""
