Skate style?
Do you subscribe to a particular style of skating? If so, far along were you into your skate journey when you decided what your style would be? I’ve been skating for about a year and I’m still focused on really locking in my basics and trying to develop a flow and I realized… I haven’t even really investigated skating styles. So now I’m curious. 🥸

After about a year of skating my friend taught me about STL style and I fell in love with it! I’ve been learning the basics ever since 🤩

Trucks
Has anyone tried adjusting their trucks to help with turns and the flow of the skates ?

@Elena Cisneros every new pair of skates I got, I took them out the box and checked to see if each wheel spun for at least 8 seconds! So I wouldn’t know how it would feel with tight wheels

Fracture wrist
I was skating at the dojo aka Bk Skates learning a new move . I stopped and up in the air I went. Landing on my left wrist. 101 of skate never use you hands to cushion your fall.

The Importance of Edges🤩
I thought learning this move would be easier, but learning to be comfortable on my outside edges has humbled me😂 can’t wait to really be able to lean on them to go a little slower!
