The goal isn’t to memorize scripts word for word. It’s to understand why certain questions are asked, why certain things are said, and how they impact the prospect throughout the conversation. When you understand the reasoning behind the sales process, you can adapt to any offer or script without having to relearn everything from scratch. The wording might change, but the underlying principles stay the same. Instead of focusing on what to say next, focus on why you’re saying it and what you’re trying to accomplish at that point in the conversation. Once you understand that, you’ll be able to apply the same principles across different offers, handle conversations more naturally, and become a much more adaptable salesperson.
