Happy Wednesday! This week is passing by and I feel like I haven't been here much. I get home after work, make dinner and eat, clean up, prep the coffee, and pretty much go to bed. I am so tired of working day after day to help someone grow their company and then get home too tired to work on my own. It's a decent job and I am gaining some valuable skills and I am grateful for what this job has given me. But I am determined to build something for myself. I have the experience, the wisdom and the vision, not to mention all the tools possible online, and this community! One day at a time. It won't always be rainbows and butterflies! The dream is amazing...the work to get there...it tough. Especially when we have, we'll, life. What is on your mind? What's been under your skin lately? Maybe we can call this Whiny Wednesdays! 😅🤣

Most of my work for this week is off the table because I'm on crutches. I'm seeing this as a gift and using the time to post/comment more and build out some bigger stuff for my community. I feel blessed, but also worried about the lost income. Whiny Wednesday feels appropriate. I was downright angry at myself this morning for failing to do more and push myself harder in the past, when both of my feet were working. I should have been a bazillionaire by now. But many of my dreams have been at least partially fulfilled. We're all making progress. Get some sleep, @Kimberly Wright, and dream about the not-too-distant future when you'll be working for yourself and building your own business. You're in a leadership position, building street cred and practical experience. You're moving forward.

@Kimberly Wright First of all, what you said about continuing to build and show up is true about you, too. As for the results of this forced slow-down, I'm actually feeling a little scared about what might emerge as a result. I've been playing bigger than usual this week.
Next Chapter Challege - Day 4!
Happy Friday! For day 4 in the challenge we talk about our Ideal Ordinary Tuesday! Here is the link to the module in the classroom: https://www.skool.com/genx-dream-lab-2853/classroom/be4e75a5?md=9969a95915504cbbb48e9788d8736ef4 I am sharing the prompt here so where your ready, take some time to yourself to reflect and share with us just one thing abot your ordniary Tuesday that stood out, that excited or surpised you. Here is Today's Prompt: My ideal ordinary Tuesday looks like... When do you wake up? What do you do in the morning? What kind of work are you doing and for how long? Who are you with? What does the afternoon look like? How do you feel at the end of the day? Be specific and be honest. If you want to work in your pajamas until noon, write that. This is for you. ✅ Share one detail from your ideal Tuesday, something small and specific, that surprised you when you wrote it down.

@Kimberly Wright Who knows? I'm just thinking about how you said, "anything and everything that could possibly show up to block us, will show up." I'm trusting I can transform that energy into something positive.
We Are Amazing!!!
The first screenshot is from January 24th. The second is from today, March 1st. Wow you guys! This is exciting because I really believe that this community fills a gap. I know that GenXers are a growing demographic in the entrepreneurial space and there's not a lot of content or there that's really for us. We're not really into the hustle culture but we have tons of knowledge and insight that can make a huge impact in our communities online and locally. I'm just so freaking excited about what's to come!

Another month and you'll be on the first page with a star next to your name!
We Are One Month Old!
✨ One Month In… ✨ I officially launched this community exactly one month ago. It’s been a little slow, but that’s okay. The more we learn, the more we grow. And we are growing. 🌱 I also want to say this clearly: Thank you. Thank you for your posts. For your comments. For your honesty. For the energy and openness you bring into this space. A community isn’t built by one person, it’s built by the people who show up. And you’ve been showing up. 💛 I’d truly love to hear from you: *What do you think of the community so far? *And what topics would you love to explore together? I’m currently creating new resources to help you start and build your side hustles and dream businesses. More content is coming....thoughtfully and intentionally.... based on what you need most. This space is being built with you, not just for you. Drop your thoughts below. I’m listening.💜

@Kimberly Wright I hope it works out for you. I think I've gotten 90% of my members from posting in other Skool communities, plus a handful of people from LinkedIn and Facebook. You could probably take most of your course material and posts and turn them into YouTube videos. I'm thinking about doing that with mine. Have you ever used YouTube or Instagram successfully?
What Do You Need Most Right Now?
I’m building out more resources for our GenX Passion to Profit community and I want to make sure they’re actually useful. If you could get help with ONE thing right now, what would it be?

@Kimberly Wright The offer helps the person who is in the same place I was 7 years ago. Someone who isn't 100% happy with their life, but doesn't know what to do next. I'm not sure how to test this, but I'm doing a beta version through the Campfires and courses in my community.
