💰 Revenue Is Not Vanity, it's Oxygen for Your Mission
Let's have a real conversation about money mindset. For a long time, many of us were taught that wanting more money was selfish, greedy, or somehow less meaningful than serving others. But here's the truth: Revenue isn't vanity.Revenue is oxygen. It allows you to serve more people and gives you the resources to create a bigger impact. It provides stability for your family, your team, and the mission you're called to build. As entrepreneurs and leaders, our relationship with money directly affects our growth. So I want to ask you: 👉🏽 What is one belief about money you had to actively unlearn in order to grow as an entrepreneur or leader? Maybe it was: • "Money is hard to make." • "I have to struggle to be successful." • "People won't pay what I'm worth." • "Talking about money is uncomfortable." • "I can't make a difference and make a profit." This is a judgment-free zone. Share your story below. Your breakthrough could be exactly what someone else in this community needs to hear today. Let's learn from each other. ❤️

Honestly, one belief I’ve had to unlearn is treating money like it will always “come and go.” I’m not an entrepreneur, and I’ll admit I’ve struggled with managing money because I tend to shop emotionally and spend too freely at times. For a long time, I had the mindset of “I’ll make it back anyway,” instead of viewing money as something that also requires discipline, planning, and intention. I’m still learning that having money isn’t just about spending freedom, it’s about stability, peace of mind, and creating security for yourself and your family. That mindset shift has been important for me because I realized money coming in means nothing if it leaves just as fast. Definitely still a work in progress, but I’m becoming more aware of my habits and trying to build a healthier relationship with money.

My name is Jacky Hernandez and I’m based in Middletown, Connecticut. I’m part of building a networking community through CBNA, and I’m also focused on growing myself professionally especially in networking, relationship-building, and leadership. Right now I’m working on becoming more intentional with how I connect, putting myself in the right rooms, and learning how to build genuine, long-term relationships in business. One major goal I have this year is to confidently grow my network while stepping more into leadership and creating new opportunities for myself. 💗
