Today I wanted to create a skill that would actually benefit me by helping claude create something that could help me in my actual day to day life. That being a fitness assistant. I have never been able to find an actual fitness app that has everything I want and like online. This skill basically turns Claude into the ultimate fitness assistant helping not only with daily calorie tracking but all the way to a full month by month training program that takes even drop sets, half reps, and reps in reserve into account. Eventually Im going to add way more to this and give it a beautiful interface to make an official fitness app. It also suggests meals to hit your macros based off what you like and dont like to eat that way its much easier to figure out your macros and not having to experiment over and over. Included in this fitness skill is a profile folder where it stores all the information claude needs to know for the skill to work well. It asks questions about you personally. These questions consist of things like weight, height, body fat %, age, etc. Its basically like what Nate showed in his video where Claude pulls the information from somewhere else instead of the skill. Eventually when I use this skill to make an actual app I will most likely move that profile folder elsewhere but until then I keep it in the skill folder as it is necessary for Claude to be able to help create diet and training programs. One optimization I made after creating the skill was to add extra hypertrophy things such as RIR and drop sets that way it can better understand the individual and give a better program for building more muscle.
