I’ve been there a bazillion times. It was like “Groundhog Day” for me, but without the laughs… The sales team kept handing me leads of such stinky quality, it felt easier to toss them in the WC than to squeeze a penny out of them. Until one day, everything changed for me. I’m just an ordinary dude from Southern California, working as a support admin in an IT company and hustling as a coach in my free time. Then, out of the blue, I was laid off without any warning. It was a low blow, but it also lit a fire under me. It made me realize that if I wanted to succeed, I had to take control of my own destiny—no more relying on others for leads or job security. That day marked the end of stale coffee leads and the beginning of my fresh brew—my own path to success. Back then, when the struggle was real and raw, Poetry was the last thing on my mind, no awe. The leads were dead ends, my spirit was worn, Even ice cream, my sweet solace, was forlorn. On my couch, I’d sit, an empty bowl in hand, A symbol of joy lost, no treat, no grand stand. The creamy delight I once savored with glee, Now a distant memory, as I yearned to be free. I’ve had my share of ups and downs, but I finally figured out a working strategy. I wrote about it in my book “Profitable Assets: Inception.” To explain it better, think about a lake. On one side, there are lots of fishermen trying to catch fish, but there are no fish there. Now, look at the other side of the lake. There’s this regular guy who’s easily grabbing fish out of the water because there are so many of them. It’s like one side has no fish at all, and the other side is full of them. What results does the strategy yield? It attracts hoards of eager leads with the intention to pay amounts ranging from $20 to $25,000. without -webinars, zooms, sales calls, paid ads one dude who will ask me best question will get a free hint
