X 2 days a week full body
Hi Guys quick question im currently only able to get to the gym 2 days a week just due to constraints. I focusing more on conditioning x 4 days a week so x 3 easy days and x1 higher intensity day. I wanted to ask how would best recommend doing x 2 full body days a week? The main focus is on my upper body strength while maintaining my lower strength. Should I rotate each week on the lower and total while keeping the upper there all the time? Any advice would be appreciated.

What should our next article be about?
Thanks to everyone who checked our article out on service members entering the fitness industry. I'm going to start writing more about things like this, sharing some personal experiences that I learned from my time in the military, and pretty much anything that I feel like will be helpful for your training. Lots of different directions to go right off the bat though - what are some topics you'd like to learn more about? Or general subjects you're interested in and want to hear more? Subscribe to the substack if you'd like. I'll be dropping links in this forum as well.

An conditioning post would be interesting, how to program accordingly the effects of each style of training and how to maybe scale accordingly to an example event?
How to build a run base?
Hi guys I've got a question here. I'm running the warfighter program but the run days I'm having an issue due to my running hiatus of 2 years. Is there any recommendations to build my run base up in those days such as running zone 2 work or adding some speed? I've been reading around and the 10% rule is something to swear by and you guys generally recommend a deload every 4th week? Also on the days where the conditioning is can I replace it with this plan to build a run base. I'm preparing for the Royal marine commando in the UK towards the end of this year. Early on the the training phases there's alot of sprinting such as 100-800m circuits and long runs that max out at 8 miles. Not sure any recommendations where to start as I've been struggling to get past 5 miles a week.

@Thomas Wadsworth 10% increase a week is what I found best or run walks work like dream for me, I can slightly push the pace a bit more on the run portion maybe 30 sec faster then my normal zone 2 then walk allowing recovery fully and hardly any fatigue, while keeping in that aerobic zone. Bit I've done alot of tinkering with them to get the right rest to work ratio.
