First BJJ comp
Needed to thank y’all once again. Had my first competition in the fire/police world games. Ended up having to move up a weight class in order to compete. Still ended up taking silver. As always thank you for the detail that’s in the programs and being focused on the end users.
Training maxes
Hey y’all, I was hoping to get an opinion on training maxes. I have had a strange work schedule as of late, as well as more consistent BJJ training and have worked to factor in better recovery practices. I’ve felt good when I’ve headed into the gym, but have found myself unable to hit prescribed percentages on some days. My bench has plateaued (not by much) but I was hoping to pick your brains on whether a training max on warfighter would be ideal? Thanks y’all!

I feel you on that one. It has definitely built up over the past few weeks on this end. I really appreciate the responses and advice as always!
Muscle up win
Wanted to give y’all a quick shoutout. After conditioning today the guys and I were messing around and I finally ended up getting my first couple of muscle ups. As always I appreciate the programming y'all keep putting out!
Obstacle course training.
Hey guys, currently been on Warfighter for a while now while preparing for a firefighter Smoke Diver class. I’ve been using the conditioning days on the program as gear training days when I’m on shift, and have been doing so for the past year. The course I am attending has an O-course that you have to complete in 22 minutes, and you have two bottles to get it done. After my last time testing I am under the 22 minute mark and almost completing the course on one bottle. My question is now with being one month out from the course, would I be better off running the entire O-course, or breaking down certain events and adding them as conditioning days? For example 30 minute clock, minute 1: fire chops, minute 2: tire drag, minute 3, stairs, minute 4: tire hoist, minute 5: rest, and repeat that for the 30 minutes.

Hey man! I’m currently getting ready for Alabama’s. Georgia is definitely one I would love to attend as well. I’m definitely looking forward to the challenge, and I really appreciate the feedback and programming y’all put out! I’ve changed some of the gear work around and have been focusing on the weaker areas for me on the O-course, and other days really been working on skill fundamentals. Been seeing a lot of improvements thanks to the MASS coaching and programming!

Hey guys, just wanted to let y’all know I finished up the Smoke Diver program yesterday. Warfighter was a huge part of me being able to make it through this week. I felt the strongest I’ve felt, and felt my conditioning and time on air was the best it’s ever been. I also didn’t feel as banged up through the week as I thought I would. Thank y’all for caring about the end user and making sure we’re fit for our jobs, and thank y’all for the work that gets put into developing these programs!
