One of the biggest misconceptions I see is that people believe real estate is all about finding the perfect deal.
After years in the property business, I've learned that success rarely comes from waiting for the perfect opportunity. It comes from understanding the numbers, building strong relationships, staying consistent, and knowing how to solve problems when they arise. I've seen great opportunities pass people by because they were waiting for everything to line up perfectly. On the other hand, I've watched experienced investors turn average deals into profitable ones simply because they had the right strategy and network. Whether you're wholesaling, buying rentals, flipping properties, or just getting started, your ability to learn, adapt, and connect with the right people will often matter more than finding a once in a lifetime deal. That's one of the reasons I enjoy being part of communities like this. Everyone has a different journey, and there's always something valuable to learn from someone else's experience. I'd love to hear from you: What's one lesson you've learned in real estate that you wish someone had taught you when you were starting out?
