@Katie Sclafani that all sounds like great progress! Same thing applies for place! Consistency in expectation

@Kristin Coyne don be afraid to use the shock and really work on place command. By creating a space and an expectation in the chaos that is children, it’ll help her understand that she has to stay calm. If she’s calm she can come off place but if she gets over excited she goes back on or into the kennel
Win of the Week
Nara LAYED DOWN during daycare today!! My anxious, introverted dog, who HATES daycare, but I force her to go so she stays socialized with other dogs. She usually paces, stands and pants, or sits in the corner and pants. But not today! I'm so proud of her.

How is your dog at the vet?
One of the common things clients tell us is their dog is terrible at the vet. The dog is “perfect” everywhere else but not there. My question back is usually “well what are you doing to prepare your dog for success at the vet?”. Are you working on touching and grabbing random areas, look at teeth and ears, accountability during the ride there and in the waiting room? What about leverage their obedience while in the exam room? Dogs can be successful at the vet but it’s up to us to set them up for success! Are you struggling with the vet? Let me know! Want other tips? Let me know!

@Kristin Coyne that’s great that you have a vet that’s willing to work with you! Vets will always be stressful but preparing them and leveraging that obedience is key!

@Suzanne Smith we love when cookies work!
Some fun with Greyson today!
Believe it or not this is amazing training for Greyson! He’s having to control his drive, listen, and be patient! The bite sleeve is just as much of a reward as any toy or food! And no this will not create an aggressive dog!
