I’m Not Ready to Let This Summer Go 🤍
Summer is starting to wind down, and I’ve been thinking about how grateful I am for the slower moments this season gave me. 🤍 Time on the farm. Getting my hands dirty. Being with my family. Laughing at things that probably wouldn’t be funny to anyone else. And most of all, getting to spend this time with my dad. There’s something about being back on the farm that reminds me what actually matters. Life gets busy. We’re always looking toward the next thing, asking God what’s coming, where He’s leading us, what we’re supposed to be doing next. But sometimes His greatest gifts are sitting right in front of us. This summer, I’ve tried to be present for them. For the ordinary days. For family. For Dad. For the farm. For the conversations and memories I know I’ll someday wish I could have just one more of. As summer comes to an end, I’m not quite ready to rush into the next season. I’m just really thankful for this one. 🤍 What’s one thing from this summer you want to hold onto a little longer?

I would hold on to not being at work and sleeping in. I love not caring what day it is or what time it is. 😁. I would also hold on to wearing shorts and tank tops instead of five layers of clothing.
Have you ever prayed... "God, I just need to hear You." 🤍
Can I encourage you today? What if God has been speaking all along? Maybe through a sense of peace. Maybe through Scripture. Maybe through a conversation. Maybe through a gentle nudge you couldn't quite ignore. Sometimes we expect God to speak in dramatic ways, while He's faithfully guiding us in quiet ones. ✨ What's one way you've felt God guiding you recently? I'd love to hear your experience in the comments. 💛

I’ve always been too afraid to hear God’s voice because I’m too afraid it’s going to sound exactly the same as every other voice in my life has, including my own. Violent.

@Kourtney Levens Hmmm, I have never heard anyone describe it like that. I think I’ve heard this before. A couple of years ago my rent went up so much I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to pay it. I started to go to the office to try and get out of it but something kept stopping me. It was so hard to not because my survival instinct was desperate but I did stop myself and then I heard “This is the last time.” I was $150 short each month but I made it through that year anyway. After that my pay started increasing every 6 months or so and my rent hasn’t gone up. What I heard matches what you’re describing here. 😭. Thank you.
Let's Make This a Conversation 💜
I've noticed some wonderful conversations starting in our community lately, with members (I see you @Dolores Warren) asking questions, sharing experiences, and opening the door for deeper connection. I know many of you joined because you're looking for people who understand this journey. People who are open to talking about faith, intuition, signs, spiritual experiences, personal growth, and all the things that aren't always easy to discuss with family or friends. If you've been wanting to connect with like-minded people, this is your invitation. Take a look through the recent posts. Answer a question. Share your perspective. Start a conversation of your own. You don't have to walk this path alone, and you might be surprised how many people here can relate to what you're experiencing.

Opening my ears
After attending a Bible study I realized that I need to stop and listen. Who listens ?

I used to listen, then started to become afraid of what I might hear so I think I stopped. I don’t even remember it being a conscious decision, just realizing after the fact. Now I’m trying to listen again, but I am out of practice.
Do you miss the human connection?
One week from today I'll be gathering with some of you for my in person retreat, and I have to tell you... I am SO excited. As much as I love teaching online, there is something special about being together in person. The hugs, the conversations between sessions, the laughter at meals, the moments when someone says, "Me too," and you realize you're not alone. We live in a world where we're more connected than ever through technology, yet many people feel more disconnected than ever from each other. It has me wondering... Do you miss that human connection? Or are you perfectly happy being on your own? No right or wrong answer here. Some people recharge around others, and some recharge in solitude. I'd love to know where you fall. Are you a people person, a loner, or somewhere in between? ❤️

Somewhere in between. Since texting I definitely don’t see anyone in person much anymore and I can’t even remember what it’s like to hear someone’s voice in my ear. I really miss talking on the phone. My best friend and I in high school used to talk on the phone for 3 or 4 hours every day. I don’t think I’ve had a phone conversation in 10 years or more.
