Insulin needle size?
For subcutaneous injections do you prefer 5/16 or 1/2 needle? Been using 5/16 but injection sites on abdomen are sore, red, itchy welts. Tried 1/2 and they feel so much better! Any remedies to alleviate the partial skin redness and welts??

@Adam Benjamin I totally get it!! Heres what I normally tell people in this situation Deciding between multiple pens or swapping the cartridges out is a personal preference. You can either get 1 pen for each pep or you can buy a few pens and cartridriges and rotate them out. However each time you rotate them out you need to re prime the pen as shown in this video. If you leave them in the pens you can store the pens filled in the fridge or where ever you'd normally store the vial and just attach a tip and go when you're ready. The pens are opaque and keep the glass cartridges shielded from light when not in use.
