What's the best way increase EF (NP/HR), ofc it's always higher when training under fatigue, does it mean more under fatigue means getting more fit?
Butt cream
Do any cyclists here use a cream for their ass when doing (very) long rides? If so which ones and whats your experience with it.

+2 Assos Chamois cream, it does help, have ridden many +200Km and even +300Km on it, and unlike what @Timothy Lim said you don't need to wait unless you are actually applying too much than you need to, it's also antibacterial

Is LT1 the new Z2 !?
We all know the value of long Z2 rides for building an aerobic base. But once that base is strong, is LT1 actually much more important !? Hearing about some leaked UAE trainings, and following Jonas Abrahamsen’s (one of the highest raw power pros) workouts on Strava, there’s a lot of LT1. Why is that?? For Jonas, there’s almost no Z2; mostly LT1, and a bit of LT2. Of course, we don’t want to spend another €300 on a handheld lactate meter, but the good news is that LT1 can be tracked pretty well with a power meter & HR, more or less. What do you think: is LT1 becoming the go-to intensity once the aerobic base is set?

@Arne Peters Based on his wattage on his LT1 workouts. My understanding: one of his regular workouts is 6*20min LT1 (As his ride titles says). He pushes the wattage until lactate starts to rise. In on-season, his power for LT1 workouts is in Zone 3, like in this one: https://strava.app.link/qsvWAfrSzYb In the off-season, or as he calls it “bad shape,” his LT1 power drops into Zone 2, like here: https://strava.app.link/myADmmtSzYb Regarding the device: you can get a handheld lactate meter for €200–€300 with a dozens of test strips, And cheaper ones on AliExpress (whether they work well is another question ye lol ).

@Robert Wagner Heart rate is super variable according the test conditions or else, and so no comparisons should be made based on that @Arne Peters So my conclusion is either you have to do an accurate FTP tests very regularly (which is very hard to do and also generates lotta fatigue) or buy one of this devices and stick to it mainly instead of often mal-defined power zones, is that a good enough conclusion of this discussion 🧑‍🔬?

Have tried a bunch of aero socks, and my favorite one for spring and summer is the one from DMT, flyweight and fits like a second skin.
