We are back
We’re back. And this time, we’re not just here to “talk websites.” We’re here to fix what’s actually stopping businesses from growing: • Visitors coming in but not converting • Confusing website structure • Weak messaging that doesn’t lead to action • No clear customer journey This community is for people who want results—not just ideas. Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing: Real website breakdowns Conversion insights Practical fixes you can apply immediately If you’re here, you’re in the right place. Let’s build something that works.

How a Wix Store Homepage Should Be Structured
Most Wix store homepages fail for one simple reason: they try to say too much instead of guiding the visitor to act. A strong homepage should do 4 things clearly: 1. Say what the store/ sells and who it’s for 2. Show the main product or category 3. Build trust (benefits, proof, clarity) 4. Push the visitor toward shopping or booking Common mistakes I see in Wix stores: Sliders instead of a clear hero message, Multiple competing calls to action, no obvious next step If your homepage doesn’t answer these in 5 seconds: “What do you sell?” “Who is this for?” “What should I click?” It’s probably hurting conversions. In future audits, I’ll reference this structure when breaking down real stores.

@Anthonia Doran Absolutely, but I will want you to know that 2 bookings doesn't mean your website is finally okay, you need constant update and be consitent with what you did tat make your website get the booking. Kindly share the step you took for people here to follow as well. Thank you

Site type: Wix booking-based service website
The homepage doesn’t push visitors clearly toward booking. What I usually see on booking sites - The hero section talks about the business, not the result - The booking button is small or hidden - Too many services are listed with no priority - No clear reason to book now Why does this hurt conversions? Visitors don’t want to explore. They want to quickly understand what service is offered, who it’s for, and how to book If that’s not clear in the first few seconds, they leave. What I would fix first (priority order) 1. Rewrite the hero headline to include: service + who it’s for + benefit 2. Add one main CTA: Book Appointment or Schedule Now 3. Highlight only ONE primary service above the fold 4. Add trust proof near the booking button (testimonial, badge, or short credibility line) Example improvement Hero idea: Professional home inspections for buyers and sellers—book your inspection in minutes. CTA: ✔ Book Inspection ✔ Schedule Appointment Rule: If a visitor can’t understand what to book and how to book within 5 seconds, the page is leaking leads.
