Discussion Post One - Basic Doctrine 101
Describe a moment when good doctrine "was like rain" for your life. How did that good doctrine bring clarity or healing to your life over time? If it's difficult for you to think of a moment, then what doctrine were you introduced to in class today that helped bring clarity to an area of your life?

in the beginning of my walk, being poured into that Jesus wasn’t God, it was something i struggled with for a very short time, till GOD showed me and brought me to john 1, (gotta love when you pray and randomly open the bible and the answer appears right there) it was something that helped me because i was being poured into: things that were deceiving and so i thank GOD for His truth setting me free once again
Discussion Post Two - Servant Leadership
Where has "what's in it for me?" shaped your walk? What would repentance look like?

i think that way of thinking, as someone that not even being conscious of it having thought that way and even still at times catch myself thinking hopefully they’ll preach about something pertaining to my situation etc. is not only self seeking but it pulls away from the way of thinking that there’s grace that GOD wants to extend to others and i think that’s another thing that on our walk we have to take captive and make obedient to the LORD and grasp whatever gems are being displayed because i never know when it could be something that could free me later, and be open to receive that it may benefit others, something i’ve been learning heavy in my walk right now is serving others as what’s being taught of course but just learning to love it and embrace it and i think repentance would look like just that: turning away from ideologies that says self self self and accept the ways of Jesus, turning to GOD and noticing that the ways of thinking i may have been influenced to accept or the ways of thinking that are fleshly, to put them aside and accept the teachings of Christ and continue to surrender to Him to embody them
