Your Purpose
I recently spoke to a friend who said she wanted to give up her charity after just one year of operating. She blamed it on running a charity to be very challenging. I didn’t judge her, because life can be hard and sometimes passion gets buried under pressure, stress and exhaustion. But it made me think… If something is truly connected to you, does it ever completely disappear? I think real passion may go quiet for a while, but deep down it still exists beneath the surface. Sometimes we mistake burnout for lack of purpose.Sometimes we give up too early because the journey became harder than we expected. The real question is:Have you genuinely outgrown the vision… or are you just tired right now?

I believe there is no straight line in life, even when following our passion or purpose — there will always be ups and downs regardless. That reminds me that when I was running my salon business, I felt really tired and lacked the motivation to continue doing my work to the best of my ability. To be honest, at the time I thought I had lost interest in what I do best. I took time to recharge myself, and then I realised that my passion was still there — I was just burned out. I think sometimes we have to take different approaches, but not necessarily give up in what we believe is our passion or purpose.šŸ’œ

@George Williams I couldn’t agree more. I truly believe every stage of our lives we supposed to learn something no matter if it’s good or bad.
Not This Time: But I’m Not Done Yet
Sometimes things don’t work out and that’s okay. Just because something didn’t succeed the first time doesn’t mean it never will. It doesn’t mean you failed. It means you tried. Success rarely happens on the first attempt. Sometimes it takes two tries, five tries, or even more. What matters is that you keep going. I gave it my all on a particular project and even though it didn’t work out this time, I’m not giving up. I trust that my moment is coming. Maybe it wasn’t the right time, but I know I’ll get it right. And when I do, I’ll hit gold. 🤩

@Ngozi Obanye you right there! If we wait to be motivated to get what is needed to be accomplished we not going to move forward. Discipline is everything for sure, regardless how we feel!
Just Show Up
Some days I don’t feel like doing anything, but I’m trying to show up anyway. Do you push through?

For me I had to learn to prioritise my commitments and learned to say the NO so I can be able to give myself space and take action on things that is important to me.šŸ’œ
