Great morning to you
🧺 What Domestic Violence Families ACTUALLY Need
This post is for Non-Profit CEOs but even if you have an LLC please read because you will do something similar so you can describe in your grant proposal when applying for grants. Let’s get this clear… When you’re asking for donations or writing a grant, you cannot be vague. Saying:👉 “We need support for families” Is not enough. You have to show people: exactly what’s missing and exactly how you’re helping. If you are interested in participating in a class this week to discuss this further just comment the word " Meeting" I am available on Wednesday evening at 8:00 PM EST April 13, 2026 I will send you the link On tiktok
This right here is what real community impact looks like
I want you all to pay attention to this because this is bigger than just an event flyer… this is a blueprint. What they’ve done here is bring multiple services together in one place—jobs, training, resume support, notary services, housing assistance, and even spiritual support. That’s not random. That’s intentional. That’s strategy. That’s what it looks like when you understand that people don’t just need one thing—they need access. If you’re building a nonprofit or an LLC that serves people, this is the level you should be thinking on. Not “what do I offer?” but “how can I create an environment where people can get everything they need in one space?” This is also a perfect example of collaboration in action. You see leadership, community involvement, and coordinated services all working together. That’s exactly what funders want to see. That’s exactly how you build trust in your community. And that’s exactly how you grow faster without trying to do everything yourself. I want you to start thinking about how you can either attend events like this, partner with organizations hosting them, or even create your own version. Even if you’re just starting, you can begin by connecting with people who offer services your audience needs and build from there. This is how you move from having an idea… to becoming a resource hub. And when you become the person or the organization that connects people to opportunities, everything changes for your business and your impact.

This right here is what real community impact looks like
Build Your Resource Network
The Key to Serving Your Community Effectively This is something I want every single one of you to take seriously if you’re building a nonprofit, an LLC, or any type of service-based business that impacts people’s lives. Your business should never operate in isolation. One of the most powerful things you can do is build a strong, organized resource list for your clients. Not just what you offer—but who you can connect them to when they need more support than you provide. That’s how you become a real solution, not just a service. What you’re looking at here is an example of housing assistance resources in New Jersey. This is the type of list every one of you should be creating based on the state or community you serve. Whether your focus is domestic violence support, education, credit repair, mental health, housing, or youth programs—your clients will have layered needs. When you already have trusted organizations, phone numbers, and contacts ready, you instantly position yourself as organized, resourceful, and impactful. This is also how you build credibility fast. When people see that you can connect them to real help—not just talk—they trust you. And that trust is what grows your community, your referrals, and your long-term impact. If you’re new, this is even more important. Start reaching out. Introduce yourself to local nonprofits, community programs, churches, outreach centers, and service providers. Let them know who you are, what you’re building, and how you want to collaborate. You don’t have to do everything alone. In fact, you shouldn’t. Collaboration is how goals get achieved faster. It’s how programs grow. It’s how grants get approved. Funders love to see partnerships because it shows you’re connected and serious about making change, not just running a business. So your assignment is simple: start building your own resource list for your state and begin forming real relationships behind that list. This is how you move from just having an idea… to building something that actually changes lives.
