At Folkloring Life my mission is pretty simple: helping people bring folklore and magic off the page and into their day to day lives. Why do I think this is important? I believe that too many people feel disconnected - from their past, from the land around them, from their community, from like minded individuals. We reconnect through our stories, practices and beliefs. In this community we will discuss folklore, folk music, folk dancing, folk crafts, spell work, ritual, spirituality and daily practices for a magickal life, but there is so much more. We will share our stories - family folklore, lived experiences that can't be explained by science (yet) and our beliefs around magick and the supernatural. Since Folkloring is all about doing, we will be sharing the actions we take in our lives to make them more magickal. You can make the most out of being here by: 💠Sharing your stories, recipes, practices and beliefs 💠Asking for guidance, feedback, support and collaboration 💠Offering support, encouragement and opinions to others without judgement 💠Introducing yourself below and tell us a bit about yourself and what you hope to find here. Folklore is simply defined as a shared story, belief tradition or practice shared amongst a group of people. Come be that group with me. Please introduce yourself below and share one magickal thing about you or one beloved folk tale, cryptid or urban legend.

If you accept the premise that magick is real, what would you use it for? Would you draw in more abundance? Look for love? Something more specific like getting a job you want or success in getting clients? Whatever that thing is that you thought you would use magick for - work on that in the mundane world. That’s magick, too.

Folkloring is all about bringing folklore and magic into your day to day life. We talk about the experiences and beliefs that may feel a bit less mainstream, but are real nonetheless.
