Valuable insights at the feedback call today!
This was our 2nd feedback call, thank you @Shereen Sands for joining, I love that we both took away practical insights for our Skool communities! Want to join the next feedback call? Check out the Calendar Tab and add it directly to your iCal or Google calendar I ended up trimming the recording, to make it easier to watch and asked Claude (as advised by @William Renner is far more superior to ChatGPT) to give me a summary👇 Shereen's main community - Action sparks engagement → Shereen changed her community into a challenge-focused community and now people are not just passive observes but taking action, sharing pictures, engaging with posts and having fun in the process. - Free trial as a gateway to entry → a 7-day trial could help hesitant prospects (or those who don't know you) experience the community before committing. - Positioning matters → going beyond listing features and speaking to identity (e.g. “women tired of playing small,” “entrepreneurs ready to grow”) makes the community relatable and when people recognize themselves in the description there are higher chances of them joining. - Address objections directly → use posts or videos right in the About page to address any hidden objections they may have (before they have them!) or answer “why now?” and “what’s in it for me?” upfront to reduce the barrier to entry. Ioni's main community (under construction) - Leadership reframing → entrepreneurs don’t always relate to “leadership,” but they resonate with freedom and wanting to become replaceable, and not handicapping themselves or their business. - Fresh positioning idea → “Learn how to be replaceable” → cheeky, but powerful: freedom comes when your business isn’t dependent on you 24/7. General - About page tweaks → Shereen shared that small changes in photos and copy can affect discovery ranking!!!
