Here's some reframing around Human Design gates and types that we haven't touched on before now. For the past few months, Io and I have been covering Human Design gates and channels each week during Space Weather. We use the Quantum Human Design Evolution 2026 book by Dr. Karen Curry Parker in our framework. Throughout the year, we each have access to gates (and sometimes channels) that are not in our chart. Sometimes we get to experience an entire channel because an activated gate completes a channel for us. ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ For example: I have Gate 23 in my Design (not my Personality). Quick key: Design is unconscious. Personality is conscious. In most HD apps, Design gates show on the left with red or white lines; Personality gates show on the right with black lines. So Gate 23 – Throat Center – lives in my unconscious. When it gets activated by transit, I experience it as Personality — clearer and more up in my field. I'm familiar with it because it's in my chart, but not in the way it comes through when it's in the Personality position. When gate 43 is activated – Ajna Center, I have access to the entire 23-43 channel (Channel of Structuring). ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ When you talk to people who study or have familiarity with Human Design, they'll tell you their Type and Profile (numbers). I'm a 4/6 Generator. What I hadn't seen before is a visual representation of the Human Design types — showing which channels are Manifested, which are Generated, and which are Projected. Each type of channel has its own strategy. As an intuitive, when something lights me up I receive intuitive information. This can activate my Generator, which often looks like a deep dive (or a tiny dip) into something. In this case, I have enough energy to share it with you. Woo hooooo! Hold the bay leaf and say: I lovingly release every pattern that asks me to abandon myself in order to receive love. Light the candle and spend a few minutes reflecting on: Where have I been settling? Where have I been over-giving? What version of love am I now ready to receive? How can I love myself through small, daily acts instead of waiting for grand gestures? Hold the bay leaf over the bowl (or safely burn it if that's part of your normal practice), Imagining old relationship patterns dissolving. Allow the candle to burn safely for as long as feels appropriate. Then place a small drop of honey onto your tongue and speak into existence what you want in relationships.
