I have medium 1b hair styled into a middle part but it usually stays flat and it hard to get any volume or waviness/texture so what styling product is good? I was thinking a paste or something that doesn’t leave the hair sticky or clumpy since I don’t like the feeling of their being hard clumpy products in my hair. Hair is long right now when I pull it down it reaches my chin but usually sits around mid cheek. I still want to be able to run my hands through my hair and want it to feel flowy and soft

Not sure if I should let it grow more or ask my hair stylist to get it more layered and textured. I feel like it looks good at the moment and I should probably get it cut after a few weeks? Also thoughts on using sea salt spray on my hair type?

I have low porosity 1b hair although now I’m growing it out it looks like it’s going towards 2a. What brand of shampoo and conditioner is good for my hair type? I currently use Shea moisture’s strengthen and restore shampoo and conditioner and it was going well for a bit but now most of the time after rinsing it out my hair feels sticky and clumpy. I only use a pea size amount of both.
