Worship God

The beauty of the scriptures is that it speaks for itself. It’s not about how we feel or what we want it to mean but about what God intends to say to us. He is our shepherd, those who hear his voice and obey are his, and he even leaves the 99 to chase after the one lost sheep. Not just a shepherd but THE GOOD SHEPHERD! Wow! ““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭9‬:‭36‬-‭38‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/114/mat.9.36-38.NKJV He that wins a soul is wise. The great commission or call to win souls is one of the most crucial assignment of our time. Some have oversimplified it or argued that it’s not a command for everyone. Some have claimed that it’s meant for a few and only for a certain method or focus on love and not sin or hell etc. Yet, the gospel is sufficient in itself, scripture convincing by its standard and the Holy Spirit still active and capable. Our call is simple: go preach the gospel. Those who have beautiful feet should share the truth of God’s word, undiluted, bold and contending for the faith that’s delivered to us. The world needs the truth, only the truth can save or set them free and faith comes by hearing or hearing the word of God. Go tell it everywhere that Jesus came to die for their sins, and deliver them from God’s wrath, reconciling them back to God. Tell them of his love that led to his death (John 3:16) and only those who believe (confess, repent and turn to Christ) will be saved. Conclude with the clear point, no one is too good to not need salvation or too bad to not be saved. No religion or good deed will save them only through JESUS. For there is no other name under heaven through which they will be saved (Acts 4:12). May love and truth get us motivated to reach more people. Father pls bring us more labourers and may we have a burden for souls. There are resources for those willing to step out into the streets, and you can start from speaking to a neighbour, a friend, a colleague.
