Hello, I'm new here excited to learn more.
I've been trying to get my CARECREDIT COLLECTION off but I can not its been on there for more than 2 yrs

@Charles Evans Welcome to the community! 🙌🏿 For the CareCredit collection, I’d first review how the account is being reported on all three credit reports and check for any inaccurate information. If you find errors, you can dispute the specific information with the credit bureaus and provide any supporting documentation. If the collection is accurate, there may not be a legitimate way to have it removed early just because it’s been there for two years, but the community may have resources that can help you understand your options.

@Charles Evans Gotcha, 4 years makes sense, I’d still recommend checking how the account is currently being reported and whether there are any inaccuracies. If everything is accurate, the age of the collection alone wouldn’t necessarily be a reason for early removal. Hopefully you can get some progress on it
Initial Funding
I have a company I started in January. I had tonwork on my personal credit which is now 720-738, no late Pays, no collections. I know the ads say with this I could get initial funding for the business. Where to I start?

@Mark Spencer Congrats on getting your personal credit into that range and keeping a clean payment history. 🙌🏿 you should start by making sure the business itself is properly set up and that your business information is consistent across your records. From there, look into the community’s funding/onboarding resources to see what steps and requirements apply to your specific situation before submitting any applications.

@Frank Milan If the late payments are inaccurate or can’t be properly verified, you may have grounds to dispute them. I’d start by reviewing all three credit reports and checking the Santander account details for any errors. If you find inaccurate information, dispute the specific items with the credit bureaus and provide supporting documentation. If the reporting is accurate, simply disputing it usually won’t require the lender to remove it.

@Frank Milan Yes, you can. USPS allows you to prepare certified mail from home, but you’ll still need to follow their requirements for the label and postage, and the item has to be accepted by USPS. You can also check USPS.com for the current options and instructions.
