Facedbook Insta Course Video..
Hi there! Hope you are all training and teaching well. I am starting a 7 session course of Taiji & qigong basics... Has anyone had success with a short promo video and viewers filling in a form for you to contact them on Facebook and Insta? If yes what would you say was the most effective video or Meme that got you the most enquiriers?

Hey man this is super exciting. let’s split this into 3 sections. Ad, lead form, follow up. From an ad (promo video) perspective the main thing you need is for it to stop the scroll. It’s by far the most important thing. So make sure you spend some time on this. Instead of going into a huge amount of detail I’ll send you a direct message with a video tutorial I have on how to record really good ads. For the form, yes definitely send people to either a landing page or a Facebook form. I prefer Facebook form. Get their name, phone and email. For follow up, after people fill In The form, you want to direct them to where they can buy the course but only after they fill in that initial form. Then ensure you have a good follow up process if emails and sms encouraging them to buy. The main thing for this type of offer is genuinely making the ad interesting so that video I’ll send will help massively.
Teaching in Schools Rates
Hi there, Great to be in this group! Does anyone have a guideline for teaching onsite in schools in UK? Would the school simply take a cut of the bookings value, this would be ideal? Thanks, Caspar

Hey @Caspar Ingham i know a lot of schools will allow you to do assemblies for free as its a massive weight off their shoulder if you was to come in and do a talk. If you are talking about school halls and teaching out of there, they are most likely going to go down the route of a flat hourly fee for usage. I see prices anywhere from £17/hour all the way up to £35/hour for an average size space. I cant imagine any facility taking on a revenue share from classes, as its something completely out of their control. I.E, in their minds, the person hiring for the hour could get 1 person who up, and a 25% cut of a £10 session isnt going to be enticing for them. One option could be to potentially build up a relationship with a school, maybe come in and teach some PE classes/do somethings for Free/discounted rate in exchange for use of their halls/space during the week!

What was marketing and advertising like 15 years ago?
Since starting KO i have learnt that marketing mostly stays the same - Offer something people want, get it out there, and people will come. But advertising, this is something that changes almost month on month, year on year. Marketing is the Strategy, Advertising is the Tactic. So my question is, what was the craze tactic when you first were starting in Martial Arts? What was your most effective, and even most whacky way of getting people into your martial arts school haha? Genuinely very interested in this!!
