Over the next several days, I’m going to be sharing something new with you. Many of you joined this group when the focus was on decluttering and organizing our homes. That topic is still important to me. A peaceful, welcoming home matters. But something interesting has happened recently while I’ve been clearing out a storage unit. Instead of donating everything or holding a big garage sale, I started listing items one by one on Facebook Marketplace. The result surprised me. So far I’ve sold 15 items for just under $1,500, and the storage unit is now completely empty. That experience changed the way I think about decluttering. Instead of simply getting rid of things, we can often convert unused belongings into cash. That’s the direction I’d like to explore with this community. Over the next few days I’ll be sharing: • how to recognize items that can sell• how to price them• how to list them on Facebook Marketplace• how I handle messages and schedule pickups• what the real process looks like I’ll also be showing some of my own listings and results along the way.
