Financial Aid
Has anyone from the April 6th cohort received a disbursement yet? We are now due for our second one and all Mae ever tells me is the same shit about heightened monitoring causing delays. Has anyone actually talked to someone or received a timeline? I am starting to go into freak out mode because I am in financial dire straights after waiting over 3 months for something that shouldn't have taken more the 2 weeks to clear.

@Julie Meiss was that before or after the r you applied for the loans though
Anyone wanna partner up to build an app?
I’m working on building software for the service industry that would rival competitors like Square and Jobber. I’m looking to build in the same exact features but for way less money. Jobber charges $199 per month. I want to get this built out and do a structured tier system of like $49, $99 , $149. There is a huge market for it. If anyone is interested in going in on the project with me let me know. We could probably use it for our capstone project as well.
Disbursement question
So our next term starts July 6th. How many days into the term before you see a disbursement into your account for loans? I got my first and second one in the middle of my second term. Was curious if anyone got one on the regular schedule and how many days into the term before you received it.

@Vanessa Chavez so you’re tuition is normally fully covered by government grants and then maestro pro scholarship, but you can also apply for $9500 in direct student loans for your first year. So you would get about $3100 and some change per term. Second year the amount goes up to $10,500

@Vanessa Chavez on maestro platform go to student services and click financial aid and let it know you wanna apply for student loans.
