I don't think there is a single answer. Starting out with it could be any or all of the suggestions above. It's a spiral, one leading to another leading to another. Change this to a great conversation with a potential client, build confidence, build a reputation and word of mouth, all spiralling again. But this time positively moving forward. The key? Simple - do something, anything. By doing something you learn what not to do, or what you should do more often....... then next action - repeat, repeat, repeat
