You wrote down 50 dreams. Now I want you to question them. Because here’s something I’ve been thinking about: Not every dream on your list deserves your life. Some dreams come from comparison. Some come from insecurity. Some come from what the world tells us success should look like. But some may be connected to something much deeper; the person God created you to become. So how do you tell the difference? Last Monday I challenged you to DREAM AGAIN. You wrote down things you want to do. Things you want to have. Places you want to go. The person you want to become. The difference you want to make. This Monday, we’re going deeper. We’re going to take some of those dreams and ask one deceptively simple question: WHY? Why do you want the house Why do you want financial freedom? Why do you want to build the business? Why do you want to travel? Why do you want to make an impact? Because sometimes the thing we think we want isn’t actually what our heart is searching for. And then we’re going to ask the most important question of all: “Lord, is this dream aligned with Your purpose for my life?” I don’t just want you to build a successful life. “Don’t let your learning lead to knowledge. Let your learning lead to action.” — Jim Rohn Jim said something once that stopped a lot of people mid-sentence: “Don’t let your learning lead to knowledge. Let your learning lead to action.” It sounds almost contradictory. Isn’t knowledge the whole point of learning? Jim didn’t think so. He watched people fill notebooks at his seminars, buy every book on the shelf, and attend every lecture in town, and still go home and do nothing different. The learning had become a hiding place. The goal was never to know more. The goal was to do more with what you already know. RIGHT NOW Spring is here and with it, the harvest season Jim loved to teach about. But here’s the thing he always reminded his audiences: you can only harvest what you planted. If spring came and went without action, no amount of October ambition makes up for it. The good news? There’s always another spring. And the best time to start planting is the moment you decide to stop waiting. A STORY The Day of Resolve Jim taught that there’s a difference between interest and commitment. He’d say, “Interested people do what’s convenient. Committed people do what it takes.” But the real turning point, the day everything changes is what he called the day of resolve. It’s the day you stop saying “I’ll try” and start saying “I will.” Not with volume. Not with drama. Quietly, to yourself. That’s enough.
