Strawberry plants…. Help!
Last August I inadvertently placed an order for strawberry plants that I later learned was a pre-order for a Jan 2026 ship date. *face palm* They are scheduled to arrive next week. A quick Google search says Sept-Nov is the best time to plant in Texas. Well clearly we missed that mark. Can I save these plants? Any advice? I have a bundle of 25 plants coming my way. I’ve never planted strawberries before so will take all the tips and tricks you guys have.

@Danielle O'Neill Did you order june-bearing or ever-bearing strawberries?

Hello I’m Hunter, along with my wife Erin and our two daughters, we are Grown By Grace Farms. We are a large scale (50+ acres) market produce farm in Guntersville, AL (zone 8a). We grow flowers for photography sessions and herbs as well. We love all things farming and outdoors. We preserve food, ex-cow milkers, and love to hunt/fish. I look forward to seeing others methods of gardening. “If you aren’t learning, you’re not growing!”.
