Best ways to get residential clients? I live in New York and tried using thumbtack but it cost on avg $40 per lead

Same here. In the Atlanta market and thumbtack is destroying me on lead cost. Just for the customer to never respond or go with someone else with a way cheaper price.

No bookings
Man I guess I need to start paying for leads. 2 weeks ago I booked 6 appointments off Facebook groups / marketplace. The last week I haven’t added any new appointments. Do you think it has to do with the holiday? Just curious if this has happened to anyone else.

Unreliable Cleaners
Tomorrow is my first day of appointments. Contractor has been so communicative and excited to start taking jobs, back ground check, W-9, cleaner agreement, payroll setup etc has been done. The day before she decides she’s going to block me and leave me hanging. Thankfully I have other cleaners lined up. Moral of the story, what are some extra steps I can take to ensure I’m hiring the right person?

Making Progress
Still trying to get my Google business verified but I’ve gotten 4 bookings the last few days just from organic traffic on Facebook. Stoked to get this up and running!
