Important Update For You
Friends, I've been so busy lately with my personal consulting business that I haven't had time to share our Sunday online meditations here. So I'll just take a moment to reiterate that we have sessions at 10 a.m. on Sundays online when we're not hosting in person retreats. I'll do my best to be more diligent about posting it here. Really appreciate folks that showed up this morning, and I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday that is unplugged and reinvigorating @Hugh Simonich wonderful meditating with you this morning! With warmth, Brandon Mehrgut

Loved the meditation this morning. Thank you Brandon!
Our weekly sit is moving to Sunday mornings
Starting Sunday, July 19, our sit moves from Tuesday evenings to Sundays at 10:00 AM Central. Honest reason: business has been busy, and Tuesday nights were running on fumes. Sunday morning is when I can actually show up with the energy this deserves. I would rather give you a full hour of presence once a week than a tired one. Same hour together. A brief check in, 30 minutes of silence, a short teaching, and closing reflection. Same Zoom link. No experience needed. Come as you are. This is the rhythm going forward: online every Sunday, in person once a month. Weekly practice to deepen what you are building, monthly gatherings to sit together in the same room. See you Sunday. I so look forward to this. This will be my first official meditation group retreat
The Open Heart: a free one-day meditation retreat, July 26
Dear friends, I'm so happy to introduce a brand new meditation retreat focused on compassion and lovingkindness. Thank you for your patience as I designed this day. Sunday, July 26, 10 AM to 4 PM, North Austin (in person). Most meditation begins with the breath. This day begins with the heart. A free, secular day retreat on the four qualities of the heart: lovingkindness, compassion, joy in others' good fortune, and a wide, steady equanimity. No belief required. Short teaching, guided practice, time to talk. Again and again, a little deeper each round. New sitters welcome. Longtime sitters who were never shown the heart, especially welcome. Bring a cushion, comfortable clothes, and your own lunch. Offered as a gift. Nothing to pay to reserve your seat. Only 20 spots on each platform. If you use Meetup, sign up there. If you don't, feel free to use Eventbrite. @Brandon Mehrgut Thanks Brandon. My schedule is kind of wonky right now so I'll make the meditations here that I can. I believe I found you through a link I was sent through the Waking Up app.
