Would anyone know where you can get these with PanGlobal closing down? I need them to write my 2A1? Any help would be appreciated.

I believe you can get them through BCIT. Or, yes, as @Norm Arseneault mentioned other colleges.
๐Ÿ“ข Iโ€™m proud to share that I have officially been awarded my 3rd Class Power Engineerโ€™s Certificate of Competency through ABSA.
This milestone is a reflection of years (2006 start) of dedication, resilience, and hands-on experience in Canadaโ€™s energy sector. Over the most recent several years, Iโ€™ve had the privilege to contribute to some dynamic projects, including: ๐Ÿ”น Assistant Shift Engineer โ€“ Keyera Simonette Gas Plant Operating in a high-capacity midstream facility (450 MMcf/d sour gas & 27,000 bbl/d condensate), with responsibility for cryogenic and sour gas processing, amine & dehydration units, fractionation, compressors, and SCADA/DCS monitoring. Supporting safe operations, hazard mitigation, and contractor onboarding while optimizing plant performance. ๐Ÿ”น Process Foreman โ€“ Sancon Commissioning (Pembina Brownfield Upgrade) Leading commissioning and startup activities, mechanical isolations, permit-to-work processes, lockout/tagout procedures, and SOP development. Ensuring safe turnover of systems and alignment with client standards during critical project phases. ๐Ÿ”น Contract Operator โ€“ S2F Global Resources Supporting Strathconaโ€™s HIP VAP R&D pilot for SAGD steam generation using produced water (GHG reduction & water treatment innovation). Additionally, operating AltaGasโ€™ Townsend deepcut, shallow cut, and mercaptan plant (550 MMscf/d) with responsibility for isolations, inspections, and emergency readiness. These experiences have deepened my industry service commitments and further shaped me into a safety-first, technically versatile operator who thrives on collaboration, problem-solving, and continual learning. Looking ahead, I am already actively pursuing my 2nd Class certification with study materials in hand and initial program underway in the Power Engineering 101 modules. This certification is not the finish line; itโ€™s a steppingstone toward continued professional growth and contribution to Western Canada's power and natural gas industry.

Finished 3rd class
Finally finished my 3rd class. I crushed the last 2 exams 2 weeks apart. The hardest exam for me was A1. half of my exam was thermodynamics and some of the calculations were very challenging. After 14 months finally got it. There were some lulls and contemplation whether or not I was gonna get it done. Thanks for all the support I have received from here. I really want to thank the team at power engineering 101. The practice exams played a huge role in my success. I found them very helpful. I wish every the best of luck on their journey in power engineering as I start my journey to my second class -Mike

4th Class Success Story ๐ŸŽ‰
Travis began studying for his 4th Class certification through distance learning, but found it challenging and discouraging. A friend recommended Power Engineering 101, and everything shifted. With structured practice exams and focused study resources, Travis passed both Part A and Part B on his first attempt. He now works as a field operator in Alberta and continues progressing toward his goal of a management role in the industry. His journey isnโ€™t stopping thereโ€”heโ€™s already set his sights on 3rd and 2nd Class certification as he continues building toward a leadership role in the industry. Congrats Travis' we are honoured to be apart of your professional journey!

2nd class B1/2/3
After finally getting the 2nd A1/2/3 exams completed, Iโ€™m chomping at the bit to get the three remaining ones out of the way here. Iโ€™m probably going to start with 2B2. However anyone thatโ€™s written recently, any feedback on these ones? Iโ€™ve been going over the syllabus and after speaking with co-workers they didnโ€™t think theyโ€™re anywhere near as difficult as the first three. I know thereโ€™s probably some posts in here, but I donโ€™t really have a lot of patience to go back and look at old posts. Thanks everyone!

The first two in the B exams are reallly easy. I think it was B2 I pretty much just read the book over two weeks and didnt even finish all of the questions in the PG books and I passed. B1, I think I did the questions...but ya, read the book over two weeks and passed. I had no math on either of those exams. If there was, it ewas like one question ( no nozzle calc's). So, they were pretty quick writes. I dont know anyone who had any serious math questions (math is the time consuming part of studying and exam writing). B3 I here is tougher and more involved (mathy lol). I have 2A1, and 2B3 left. Summer with kids = 0 study time ๐Ÿ˜…
