How cooked am I?
I have been building an operating system that runs our business. I work from a single approval queue with approve, edit, or ignore buttons. I have been learning Jake's ICM structure and had Claude Code analyze and compare my Operating System to Jake's ICM Architecture github skill. In summary, this is what it said about the similarities and differences: "The two share the AI half (instructions in files, a declared list of what each step reads, a check after every step). They differ on what drives the work: in ICM, folders and an agent session do the orchestration, while your OS uses code and a database." I am leaning towards continuing to build out my Operating System as is, because my team still uses the connectors (like Go High Level for leads and Clickup for project management) and Jake's ICM would have us using folders for each client. That would be pretty disruptive to our ops. Is this a problem? I am not a developer, just an entrepreneur who is learning how to harness AI, so a lot of this can go over my head. If you want see the full comparison that Claude gave me, I am attaching a photo below.

Hey Clief Notes fam! 👋 I'm Hudson and I'm stoked to be here.
🙋 A little about me: I am the owner of Easton Film Co, a wedding videography studio based in Birmingham, Alabama. We work mostly across the Southeast, with a contractor team of shooters and editors. 🎯 My current goal: By April 2027, I want to run the whole business from an AI-first HQ, including video editing. Then, with enough approvals, I want the entire business to be automated with humans in the loop only at critical points. 💪 What I'm currently building/working on: I'm building the HQ with a set of custom Claude skills for my studio. They cover lead intake and appointment setting, proposals, call follow-ups, wedding project setup, and multi-party call scheduling. 🤔 My biggest struggle or question right now: Everything still feels fragile. Something might work at first, but given a few weeks things break down and I find myself maintaining more than building. How are you all handling rule governance, testing, and monitoring so your systems stay reliable as they grow? Let's get it! 🚀

@Pascal Pollack probably 15 or so that I use regularly. Not a ton

@Pascal Pollack the daily desk is an artifact that pulls all of my to-dos from the various software I use. I use file information that comes in via email and text from clients, and other useful everyday tasks. Then I approve, edit, or ignore the suggestions that it makes. But the infrastructure that the Daily Desk is built on top of is fragile and constantly has weird responses, like getting blocked by a permissions check

If you’re new to working with AI, start with The Foundation. We work through prompting, context, and organizing your files so you can give an AI a job you can actually check. You’ll find guidance for Claude Code and Codex, plus a regular chat route where you save the files yourself. 💬 Use the check-ins At the bottom of the lessons, you’ll find polls and discussion posts. Consenting to an apps T&A is like turning 18 and consenting to adulthood...
It just happens suddenly.. I made a short video on something that keeps coming up in my conversations, the real trade behind the apps, services and subscriptions we use. Convenience and value in exchange for our attention and data. A lot of us were never taught what that trade actually is, so we click agree and it just happens on auto-pilot these days. Again, I am posting my imperfections. This is a topic that is near and dear to my heart and I am working on educating myself as well as I can on these and surrounding topics. My intention here is to bring any amount of awareness to the price we pay for convenances in our world. Sources are in the YouTube description: https://youtu.be/BL8jzHZW8ys Question for you: when you download an app, do you look at the reach of it on your device, identity and privacy?

Well done. I'm a video producer and am going to keep following along with your work.
My clipper video hit 14K views in 4 days on a 250 sub channel
Yesterday I shared the Claude Code clipper here. I also made a YouTube video about it. My channel has around 250 subs, and the video got 20K views in 4 days. Feels like there is a real gap right now for Claude clipping tools. People clearly want this: long video in, ready-to-post shorts out, without a monthly clipping subscription. Full video here if interested: https://youtu.be/IY08-3TS2o8 Which paid SaaS tool do you think a Claude Code replaces next?

Amazing. We run a wedding video production company. Trying to imagine how this could be used for non-podcast videos. Very cool!
