Using Ancestry
Hi Everyone, I'm trying to figure out Ancestry. There are some people when doing online searches where I only have a name and variations of their name but I'm unable to ID the parents or kids. I feel like I want to stop; but it's an opportunity that I don't want to pass up. Then I find the grandchildren but I can't add them into ancestry without the parents. Is there a way to make ancestry skip a generation so that I can add the that are kids related? There are a few names where I'm stuck with just one name and the hints have not been helpful like what I described. I don't see a way to add siblings. The only options are parents, spouse, and kids but what about siblings and skipping a generation. Surely, I'm not the first person that has this issue with ancestry.
Start Here: A Little About Me and This Community
Hello everyone, I'm SO glad you made it here. For almost 30 years, I've been using genealogy tools to build family trees and to locate and investigate people. I build traditional family trees for clients who want to learn more about their history, and I help adoptees find their biological families by building trees using their DNA results. Relevant to this community, I love building family trees for investors. I love digging into title searches, investigating ownership, and profiling who the real decision maker is on a property. And once we identify the heir, I love strategizing with clients on the best approach to reach out and get the deal done. For a while, I've done individual and team trainings on how to use genealogy to improve deals and increase profit margins. But I realized a Skool community might be a much more efficient and interactive way to teach this than one off trainings. This community is a place where I can share what I know, answer questions, break down real cases, and build this out with all of you as we go. If you've ever hit a dead end on a lead because the internet trail or skip tracing trail went cold, this is exactly the skill set that fixes that. I'm excited to dig into it with you. Drop a comment and let me know, how did you first discover the curative title world, and what made you decide to dive in?

Zach Ginn started a program this year and I've been curious ever since. Wholesaling has been difficult and I need to find another line of revenue. Thank you for sharing.
