James 1:17 reads "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change." This morning I'm resting in the peace that comes from knowing that God is consistent and never changing. He desires my best. It may not look like perfection or success in the world's eyes, but that's not His aim. His aim is for me to look like Christ. I'm so thankful that He doesn't give up on me...

I love the blank slate that is a baked potato. You can do anything with them and they are a great way to use up leftovers as toppings. This evening's baked potato is topped with leftover barbecue, cheddar cheese, yogurt and some fermented jalapeños.
