Somewhat of a stressful week
Last week wasn't as hectic. I worked and had several appointments out of the area. My sister took mom to her medical appointment on Tuesday. My dad also had an appointment on Tuesday which he forgot. They rescheduled it for Thursday and that was great but there may have been a issue with his travel. He didn't get there until 45 minutes later. I have no idea where he was. I only know this because the office called to reschedule his appointment again, but while we were on the phone they noticed he had checked in. This is a scary time, as he's been forgetting things and saying things to my mom that don't make sense.

Triple Booked
I just about triple booked myself today. It started with an a vision appointment I had for my daughter which was scheduled an entire year ago that I completely forgot about, but then realized on Friday it was today in addition to that she had an orthopedic appointment that was going to be an hour later, and my mom had an appointment literally at the same time as revision appointment. I thought I was cooked on Monday until I got the call from my mom’s doctor’s office that said her physician had forgotten that she was going to be on vacation this week! What a relief, there’s someone else with a lot on their plate that even when they’re trying to do the very best they can for themselves and other people they still end up forgetting. However, I would be so excited, the physician’s going on a cruise. I can’t think of any possible way I’d forget that…... I’m just glad I was freed up to be able to get my daughter to her appointments and I didn’t have to ask someone else to to get my mom to hers 😉

Longest Day
That’s the time of writing it is 3:40 pm but man it feels like I’ve been going nonstop for longer. It started this morning, at 8:30 I washed and blow dried my adult daughter’s hair at 9:30 it’s nice to be needed when there 19… Took my 15yo to basketball practice. Picked up mom for a doctors appointment at 11:00 Picked up my daughter from basketball at noon, of course she had to eat😜 Dropped off mom. Picked up my husband for his doctor appointment. We were a bit late for that. I had a 230 appointment and I’m actually on my way to a 4 o’clock Therapy appointment, it’s one of those days where I’m barely hanging on, I feel like bursting. I pray for better days…

A turn of events
It was such a beautiful morning, I dropped my daughter off at basketball practice and an hour later she called saying her knee popped out again. It had popped out 33 days ago and kept her from participating in track. The doctor feared an ACL tear but thankfully, it was only a sprain, now, we’re here at the orthopedic urgent care and they say that it is still sprained and that she needs to wear a brace for practices and games. I’m so thankful that that’s all it is but boy how quickly an unplanned a day with no plans can turn into a health scare and another thing added to my plate. #lifeislikeaboxofchocolates😜
